Aquent's client, a large national telecom company has a need for a Contractor to provide the services listed below.
The purpose of this position is to act as a liaison between Client and team at one of Client's agencies.
Agency team is working on an Online only publication that will be distributed and publicized primarily through social media channels. It is aimed at millennials and will speak to them in their voice. It will cover a variety of lifestyle and interest topics all with a feel for how life and technology coexist with a focus on people, not the tech.
This job will be a combination of day to day project management and progression along with creative review of daily content produced by the online publication. The successful candidate will be comfortable in both project management as well as creative environments. They will need to be able to quickly grasp Client’s culture and project goals. They will need to be able to recognize the need for new procedures and recommend implementation. The candidate will need to be able to comfortably be able to work with Client's Agency as well as Client's internal partners including other content providers, online sales and PR to coordinate publishing calendars.
Deal with Editor in Chief on an ongoing basis to represent client's interests in daily direction of publication.
Manage ongoing coordination of calendars across both agency's team and other internal stakeholders.
Working with client's social channels to publicize content.
Working with Legal and PR to insure content is approved.
Maintain and create process for publishing including vetting articles for client approval.
Manage ongoing development of creative as we move toward and post full launch in late September.
Work with Agency to deliver and understand asset goals and metrics.
Deliver ongoing reporting to client management along with recommendations for improvement
Ongoing competitive analysis.
Ongoing analysis of sentiment and commentary on the content.
Work with client media team on promotion
Project management skills for complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Good understanding of Content Marketing - what makes compelling content, especially for a millennial audience.
Good understanding of the online publishing process.
Good understanding of social channels and content distribution.
Basic understanding of copyright laws.
Basic understanding of content and SEO
Basic understanding of online media buying.
