Project Manager/Director of Marketing

Vitamin T is is searching for a Marketing Director to lead the day-to-day marketing direction with a company located in Farmington Hills. This is an exciting, full-time contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Direct daily operations of integrated marketing program including national broadcast, SEO/SEM, demand generation, social media, email, display advertising, website design and content, direct mail, and collateral materials.
• Create, implement and measure customer acquisition retention, form lead generation to sales, coordinating analysis and actions closely with channel business leads and FP&A team.
• Guide the marketing department in execution of marketing calendar, from media plan development to production/fulfillment and post-campaign measurement and reporting.
• Work with financial department to manage marketing budget, providing cash flow forecasts to Chief Financial Officer, budget reconciliation to Controller.
• Create and analyze reporting around all marketing initiatives, identifying and executing changes to improve campaign efficacy with greater ROI.
• Coach, develop and mentor direct reports, providing direction and feedback.
• Increase marketing department performance through the introduction and implementation of processes, procedures and controls.
• Spearhead work-star meetings for major projects, partnering with other department heads to assign, allocate and direct resources.
• Guide marketing team in the identification and implementation of new opportunities to drive sales and increase market share.
• Maintain flexibility to take on and perform other duties as requested.

Desired Skills & Experiences:
• 10 years experience in digital and media, corporate industries, and some retail (preferred)
• Hands on management style desired, with a passion for and a desire to understand the business and what the detailed metrics are saying about the business.
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum, Master’s degree preferable in marketing or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in marketing roles is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years as a manager, leading others towards goals.
• Strong, proven B2C digital and traditional background necessary.
• Technical knowledge on how to achieve top placement in Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, etc. a definite plus.
• Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both through verbal and written means.
• Strong group presentation skills.
• Expert Knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of SQL
