Project Manager/Digital Producer

Vitamin T has an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Project Manager/ Digital Producer for a client in the South Suburbs.  This will start as a 6-8 week full-time on-site Website Rebuild Project that can potentially lead to a long-term opportunity! The Project Manager/Digital Producer is responsible for project details, time lines, communication, execution, production and quality assurance (QA); and collaborates with all teams to deliver a high-quality output on time and within budget. You will work directly with the Marketing team and the Digital Marketing Strategist to determine project needs, requirements, process and timing. It will be your responsibility to work directly with Copy, Design, Digital, Marketing, and Developers to create project plans, time lines and requirements documentation.

The ability to understand how digital projects work within fully integrated marketing plans is important to ensure alignment with the overall creative vision and goals. You will be counted on to bring your expertise to define process and hold people accountable for their deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in managing time lines associated with all digital projects
  • Ability to manage QA (Quality Assurance) testing of digital products
  • Ability to inform Digital Scopes of Work, assisting Account Services to ensure accuracy and protect agency from liabilities 
  • Strategic approach to digital project planning
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies – lean and scrum
  • Knowledge of end-to-end digital project planning and testing
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Content Management Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five to seven years of experience in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Understanding of digital projects, including website development and testing
  • Agile methodology experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Marketing team to understand business objectives and marketing goals, and assist in providing strategic thought, ensuring achievable goals are being set and met
  • Develop time lines, Gantt charts, and project burn downs
  • Handle day-to-day project communication with all parties involved
  • Manage the output of copy, design, and digital 
  • Identify need for scrums and initiate them in a timely manner
  • Lead scrums, identify attendees appropriate and schedule meetings
  • Lead team and project status meetings; follow up on action items
  • Facilitate team collaboration and be a team leader
  • Ensure project requirements are adhered to according to best practices for usability, design and functionality
  • Knowledgeable in end-to-end digital project planning and testing
