Project Manager with Change Coordination Experience

Provide change management coordination and communications services via multiple small projects to support strategic program. Focus is on communication about the program as well as individual projects via established corporate channels and consolidated updates by department.

Details:
• Coordinate and compile department-specific updates every 6 weeks across all 13 projects within strategic program
• Coordinate and compile leadership updates every 2 weeks
• Collaborate with content owners and leadership to develop and review contents of newsletters
• Identify, develop and execute core change and communications activities across project phases as part of overall change and communications strategy.
• Develop project-specific content to be delivered via established corporate channels
• Partner with project managers and business leaders as part of program and team(s).
• Provide ongoing connection with Corporate Communications on communication development and execution.
• Assist in Leadership Engagement Plan(s) development, coordination, and execution.
• Provide insight and development support of overall program communications strategy.
• Develop a variety of communication materials which effectively educate, inform and prepare stakeholders.
• Execute on program communications (variety of types)
• Develop or enhance change management tools and methodology to build capability across the organization to lead change and improve personal resilience to change.
• Work collaboratively with other Continuous Improvement Project Managers, Change Managers, and Process Analysts – this role requires effective collaboration and cross-functional awareness.


• Required Experience:
o Minimum 2+ years’ increasingly complex experience as a project manager, communications specialist, and/or change practitioner
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
o Strong coordination and collaboration skills
o Flexibility – able to adapt to changing priorities and jump in and out of various tasks
o Knowledge of organizational change, employee transition, organization design, and culture change theories, models, and techniques.
o Knowledge of project and change management best practices and continuous improvement of change methodologies and curriculum.
o Ability to build trust with executives, management and team; overcome resistance in different settings and work cultures, influence stakeholders, and lead without formal authority.
o Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to clearly articulate key messages and complicated topics to a variety of audiences.


• Preferred Experience:
o Comprehensive knowledge of the utility business and/or working with unions.
o Certification in a change management or project management approach – PMI, PROSCI certification, etc.


• Required Education:
o BS/BA or preferably a MS/MA/M.B.A. in Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field such as Management

• Standard Work Hours:
• 8-5 primarily at PSC – need to have access to a car to travel to multiple locations
