Central London - Liverpool Street

A leading and well-respected company in the Global Financial industry are looking to bring on board a proactive and self-motivated Project Manager with a wealth of knowledge of production techniques and print management.
Passionate about delivering the best quality of service, the chosen candidate will be bridging the gap between clients and the multi-disciplinary design team, ensuring that requirements are understood and communicated clearly to the team, with a flawless delivery of a creative output.

Key Deliverables

Building trust with stakeholders and providing a foundation for growing relationships, the Project Manager will…

• Be self-motivated, energetic, front-footed, always driving projects forward whilst remaining calm and collected under the pressure of tight deadlines and challenges that arise from ever-changing circumstances.

• Work to a clear plan by setting and controlling timelines, with flexibility to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, always ensuring that projects run on time.

• Take responsibility for the operational delivery of all of projects, continuously looking for opportunities to amplify the creativity offered by demonstrating imagination, drive and leadership.

• Continue to better understand the business as well as both the technical and creative production processes, building a reservoir of knowledge in production technique and innovation

Specifically, the role includes

• Working closely with clients to forecast both their short and long-term workloads

• Inputting these requirements into the departmental workload and resource planning with the heads of project management and EMEA Creative Services

• Obtaining sign-off from all key stakeholders on ALL projects and filing approvals in the job bags

• Chasing stakeholders to deliver briefs on time, keeping projects on track

• Taking briefs from clients, ensuring they are complete, goals are communicated clearly and are approved by senior stakeholders

• Discussing a time plan with both the design team and stakeholders immediately following a briefing and scheduling creative reviews

• Ensuring that the design team have all the relevant information needed and are clear of deadlines

• Continuously update all stakeholders with progress and changes etc

• Ensuring that all that products and services are bought competitively, working closely with print buyers where necessary, and are seen by clients to represent great value for money

• Ensuring costs estimates and quotes are approved by stakeholders before commissioning third party work/purchasing imagery

• Picture searching

• Imposing service level agreements and escalating if timings look like slipping

• Liaising with and coordinating shared services and third parties where necessary across projects - design, video, presentations, etc. thus ensuring a 360 degree approach

• Researching and presenting creative and production innovations, to share with clients and put to work

Qualifications and Experience

• Min 5 years’ experience in Project Management in design a studio, ad agency or internal client

• Deep knowledge of production techniques and print management

• Adobe Creative Suite experience an advantage
