Project Manager (contract)

This Project Manager role will support marketing efforts for the following industry verticals - retail, manufacturing, aviation, financial services, hospitality, and the public sector. This is a contract position for 18 months on-site in the Fremont neighborhood.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet evolving client needs and requirements;
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope;
  • Reviewing deliverables prepared by the project team and/or third-party vendors before providing to client for final review;
  • Effectively applying project management methodologies and enforcing project standards;
  • Preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;
  • Minimizing exposure and risk on projects;
  • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately;
  • Tracking project hours and expenses on a weekly basis;

  • Project Responsibilities:
  • Manage the project assets for go-to-market assets for aviation, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail industry verticals;
  • Updating and refreshing existing marketing bill of materials. The majority of these marketing collateral will be internal-facing to the clients' field audience; some of these materials will also be external-facing to client partners and commercial customers.
  • Delivering regular status updates to core and extended stakeholders;
  • Maintaining the team's field-facing SharePoint-based site by ensuring the freshness of marketing and sales content available for download from that site;
  • Maintaining content on externally-facing client webpages owned by the team to ensure their freshness and relevancy. This will require interfacing with other client teams;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Independent Software Vendor partners to showcase new line of business applications for client hardware at industry events and assist with developing demo scripts for apps as needed;
  • Drive development of a regular and ongoing report on devices for internal stakeholders.

  • Requirements:
  • Experience with BoM (marketing bill of materials)
  • Experience maintaining BoM
  • Experience creating BoM assets
  • SharePoint experience
  • Organization skills; including tracking and critical thinking
  • Experience tracking, monitoring, and reporting the progress of tasks within a project.
  • Highly detailed oriented
  • Receptive to feedback
  • Comfortable with developing or evolving a marketing messaging framework
