Project Manager-UX/Interactive

If you are a UX Project Manager or an Interactive Project Manager seeking new work opportunities, look no further. We’ve got a hot, 20 week contract opportunity for you! In this role, you will manage project estimates, scope, resources and timelines, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
You’ll create detailed project work plans and assign tasks to team members.
The Project Manager will also Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope; as well as facilitate, track and monitor projects, activities, milestones, timelines and deliverables. You will be responsible to:
Ensure all project-related tasks have been performed
Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards.
Coordinate UE deliverable reviews, internally and with external stakeholders.
Work closely with practice leads and/or managers to ensure a high level of quality.
Forecast upcoming project work by resource and hours.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately.



Schedules and facilitates project meetings effectively.
Holds regular status meetings with project team.
Keeps project team well informed of changes within the project
Effectively communicates relevant project information to OBU colleagues.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

User Experience

Identifies UE opportunities and risks as they relate to a specific project; serves as UE champion within OBU, and internally works with UE leads to ensure proper UE design best practices are implemented.
Knowledge of human factors and usability elements of web design and development
Strong and consistent user focus

Technical Understanding

General skills in standard project management software such as MS Project, along with strong experience with other common project management software (Basecamp, time-keeping, excel, Word, Outlook.)
Possesses general understanding in the areas of website development, user experience, interactive design and development, and e-commerce.
Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on projects.
