Our client, a scientific research company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a phase two implementation of in their Marketing department. This individual will also assist senior members of Marketing with generating ideas and defining what is needed for another Sales/Marketing program they are working on. They need someone who can run agile projects. Background in biotech and marketing highly preferred. Salesforce is a must have.


Primary Objectives:

- They are seeking an experienced, adaptive Project Manager with applicable leadership and visionary competencies, complemented by strong organizational skills. The selected candidate will lead and coordinate the company’s two customer-facing projects: Phase 2 of, with emphasis on customer support, and Phase 2 of their automated, interactive, consignment program.

Desired Experience:

 Proven experience in the life sciences commercial and marketing environments.
 Experience in supporting management of CRM deployment or upgrade projects.
 Experience in customer support, supply chain, and consignment projects.
 Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills.
 Ability to foster working relationships with project teams.
 Competence in developing collaborative relationships with all functional departments involved in the projects.
 Exceptional organizational skills and collaborative teamwork attitude.
 Thorough knowledge of project management concepts, best practices and techniques.
 Project management certification preferred, although not necessary.
 Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Manage projects by effectively applying project management best practices; including project scoping, requirements gathering, and project planning.
 Establish working relationships with the solution vendors selected by the company.
 Guide projects along their critical paths and effectively manage all interdependencies.
 Communicate effectively with external and internal resources, third party vendors, and IT management to provide transparency and understanding of the projects.
 Work closely with project sponsors, the project leads, and all stakeholders, to facilitate decision making, and to resolve any issues impacting project delivery.
 Ensure the team executes predefined test plans and successfully completes them on time.
 Monitor project progress and prepare periodic project status reports for all stakeholders.
 Administer day-to-day operational aspects of the project management SharePoint site:
o Project tasks, issues, changes, and risks.
o Project resource allocation and schedules.
