Project Manager, Rapid eLearning

Our client is looking for a Rapid eLearning Specialist for a 6 month contract in their Palo Alto offices.

Description: Our employee training Academy is seeking a Rapid eLearning Specialist who will be responsible for the development and creation of courses, job aids, and web based training content using the AGILE instructional design model. You must bring an efficient and pragmatic approach to designing and developing content to support curriculum products, learning paths and assessment strategies, and have a proven track record of successfully mapping learning products to business needs and audience profiles. The Academy is responsible for global enablement and training to accelerate service delivery within the Organization.
Our guiding principles are: content is king, timeliness and relevance are paramount, and efficiency is key. This is an exciting time to join our team, and you will contribute to the groundwork by setting guidelines, standards, best practices and processes necessary for the Academy to deliver repeatable, programmatic training to a global audience. The position reports to the Senior Program Manager of Academy.

Responsibilities:
Use rapid eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Brainshark, and Panopto to create interactive SCORM compliant web based training (WBT) products
Translate needs analysis and functional specifications into detailed course designs
Deploy content onto the learning management system (LMS) and other internal sites for online delivery
Coordinate with subject matter experts to align learning objectives and content to interactive eLearning courses.

Essential Competencies:
Strong understanding of Rapid Authoring Tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Ability to create and laying out the graphics and visual design Experience in identifying and evaluating appropriate learning technologies to solve stakeholder enablement requirements
Exemplary teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to set and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and deadlines Must be able to work with many different personalities and build quality relationships.
Self-starter who can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously to consistently deliver high quality results.
Global thinker who performs in a professional, efficient and diplomatic manner in environments that are high-pressure, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous.

Entry Qualifications:
At least 5 years of related experience in rapid eLearning production, and instructional design in instructor-led, self-study, and web-based instruction
Experience in technical training, learning and development in the field of high tech.
Experience with video-based and mobile learning technologies and LMS.
Strong analytical, logic and problem solving skills for analyzing and identifying user needs, proposing solutions and logically organizing complex information
Process-oriented and driven to streamline training/knowledge-related procedures to accelerate and maximize desired outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with others on cross-functional teams
Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high change, deadline-oriented environment
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; advanced degree a plus
