Position- Project Manager- Process Improvement, B2B Location-Addison, TX (Dallas)
Start date- Mid August Duration-Contract to Hire

This role is a Process simplification Manager/Process Improvement Manager. This is NOT an IT role. Great opportunity for a Six Sigma candidate.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • IT project leader for the integration of new products.
  • Partner with functional leadership, vendors, and IT professionals (client leaders, solution architects, business applications, infrastructure, QA and go live support) to implement.
  • Facilitate evaluation; act as project leader for the solution, partnering with appropriate functional leadership, vendors, and IT professionals.
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Steering Committee, through update meetings and the project tollgate process.Define and execute project communications plan.
  • Define tasks and own project schedule for project scope defined through the tollgate process.
  • Organize work effort for IT, business, and ERP vendor resources to reach end goals, through clear roles and responsibility definition.
  • Tightly manage scope, through change management process (with approvals), minimizing customizations.
  • Reconcile project budget to the actual costs.Manage procurement plan and invoice payment process for defined projects.
  • Escalate and break down barriers to meet timeline, budget, and quality commitments.Identify and proactively manage project risks.
  • Support overall business change initiative, lead by business sales/marketing team.Facilitate cross functional discussions and strategic agreements.

    Qualifications:
    Four year college degree with minimum 3 years related project management.
    Experience or the equivalent working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
    Estimated 10% - 20% travel.
    Previous experience holding in a significant role in large projects.
    Previous exposure to business process and data across electrical distribution industry.
