PROJECT MANAGER – PACKAGING 

The Packaging Project Manager is responsible for facilitating and coordinating studio projects associated with the development and implementation of packaging. This includes collaborating with structural and graphic Designers, managing timelines with internal and external customers domestically and overseas, and coordinating with Costing and Supply Chain Managers. The position requires an individual who is highly organized and skilled at working with both creative and logical types. The Packaging Project Manager will work closely with the Program Manager, the Creative and Packaging Engineer and will serve as a liaison between Sales, Operations and Asia-based staff for project-specific matters. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Create and maintain Project and Implementation files, both physical and virtual 
• Complete/Coordinate necessary project-related documentation (including but not limited to: RFQ, approvals, pricing, work back schedules, project log, hours logs, and item setup forms) 
• Maintain ongoing accurate records of project costs including supplier invoices, design hour accruals, prototype costs, courier transportation and shipping and receiving 
• Create, track and maintain project schedules 
• On occasion, work directly with Client on packaging project design and development 
• Coordinate with Creative & Technical Director and Design Staff for the completion of design related tasks, including initial design, approvals, quality checks, and implementations 
• Keep SCM HQ team appraised of updated project information; schedules, pricing and SKU specific info 
• Complete and send out RFQs to US and Asia staff for project related pricing 
• Complete pricing analysis upon receipt of RFQ response 
• Coordinate the necessary information for the setup of new suppliers/customers as it relates to projects 
• Coordinate studio preparation for customer / vendor visits 
• Submit request for vendor profiles and updated pricing records 

QUALIFICATIONS 
• Interested candidates should have 3-5 years’ experience in project management, customer support or as a business analyst 
• Project Management certification and working with a global staff is a definite plus 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required for this position 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills with cross cultural experience 
• Intermediate to advanced math skills 
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment while maintaining accurate records 
• The ability to exercise independent decision-making with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft applications including Excel 
• Must have experience working as part of a multidisciplinary project team
