Project Manager III - 1360-1

Our Fortune 1000 client is seeking a talented Project Manager who has collaborated with IT and vendor relationships.

- Drive the execution and successful delivery of complex mid to large scale projects in support of the company's initiatives in accordance with established standards and best practices
- Work with customers & business units to develop project plans, charters, and schedules that support customer needs
- Ensure the project team is appropriately staffed, has clearly defined roles and responsibilities and individual commitment for deliverables
- Work with customers to define tasks and integrate business processes and technology into effective business solutions
- Manage programs and projects to design, develop, and implement new systems as well as process improvements
- Monitor project schedule, cost, and progress to ensure projects are completed on time and fulfill the objectives of the project charter
- Identify opportunities to expedite project delivery, reduce cost, and/or enhance business results.
- Monitor costs and provide reporting progress to ensure projects are within budget
- Lead teams in project execution and ensure the project follows established company project management methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Organize meetings with various work teams to collect and disseminate project information, plan and schedule tasks and resources, generate timelines, and structure a process for consensus and individual commitment for deliverables
- Work effectively with internal and external groups to ensure successful completion of projects
- Identify and communicate any unresolved problems or possible timeline issues along with recommended actions for correction
- Work with the project team and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years as a project manager level I or equivalent leadership experience required
- Experience in project management, including all elements of scope, schedule, budgeting, risk evaluation, issue resolution, quality, integration, staffing, and communications required
- Experience in facilitating the creation of project metrics by establishing a method for tracking required
- Experience in managing complex mid-sized projects required
- Experience implementing projects involving process improvement required
- Experience establishing cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups preferred
- Participated as a team member on an internally-developed IT and vendor based development projects strongly preferred
- Knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques; e.g., Accelerated Improvement Workshops (AIW), 5S preferred
- Knowledge of people change management and organizational change preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple objectives/tasks required
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing required
- Ability to identify problems and collaboratively develop alternatives for resolution required
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies and adapt to changes and demands required
- Understanding of the capital budgeting process and basic financial principles preferred
- Understanding of the supply chain management process and principles preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
