Our client is looking for a Project Manager with strong internal drive. The Project Manager should have a basic understanding of infrastructure, corporate IT, and network technologies and processes. They should also have basic knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices. Ability to work independently is also very important as they will not be colocated with the rest of the team.
This position will be responsible for the coordination of the Infrastructure and Corporate IT decommission activities. The Project Manager 2 will work under the direction of the Decom Program Manager to drive specific decommissioning efforts.
o Coordinate Corp IT and Infrastructure decommissions activities program under the direction of the Decom Program Manager.
o Track and drive resolution of issues and risks with the technical and project teams.
o Collect, track, and report on project metrics and KPIs.
o Update project milestones and other project documentation.
o Work with Decom Program Manager to ensure project remains on track.
o Leverage light data analysis skills (Excel) to track decommission activities and identify decommission opportunities.
o Conduct outreach with technical teams and end-users in person, by phone, and via email/chat.
o Moderate domestic travel will be required.
