Our client is looking for a Project Manager, well-versed in Questar, DOL functions. This is for a high-profile financial services insurance company!

Summary:

The Questar DOL Project Manager manages multiple workblocks of diverse scope from development to implementation for DOL compliance for Questar. Workblocks within the project will be complex and may be larger in size; include strategic corporate initiatives, and cross several functional areas, systems, and products. This position requires the ability to understand strategy and execute to deadlines. Must be action oriented, task masters and keep all workblocks within the project moving on time and on strategy. Must be an independent thinker, problem solver, and active communicator that is focused on solutions and looking for options to move the workblocks forward to completion.

Essential Job Functions:
Project Management and Implementation - Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and devise mitigation and contingency plans. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documents, and executive summaries/presentations. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. Track project milestones and deliverables. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with the project. Develop detailed business project plans and schedules. Review with business partners and agree on commitment. Manage implementation of decisions throughout the broker-dealer to meet stated deadlines.
Collaborate with Questar and company partners to coordinate the dependencies/decisions. Lead discussions with project team and leadership to understand the benefits, impacts, and opportunity costs of decisions, including the risks from an operational perspective and business capability. Align with project stakeholders on a plan to support the development and execution of communication, change management, and training strategies to ensure a smooth transition from project state to business as usual.
Relationship Management - Build rapport and credibility with internal and external teams. Flex to the needs of numerous internal stakeholders/clients. Create an environment of open communication with the project team and partners.

Requirements:
6-7 years of experience- Experience with broker-dealer, registered investment advisor (RIA), or financial services company, preferred experience with compliance or operations within a broker-dealer or RIA. Must be able to get up to speed quickly on DOL Fiduciary Rule.
