Project Manager Events

This position will play a key role in one of our client's event marketing tours traveling throughout North America starting in Summer 2014. The position is a 3 year contract position starting immediately. Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating with agency partner and Dealers through Field Sales to finalize route and secure event sites
• Developing and managing test ride registration, route development and ride experience
• Integration lead with internal groups for transportation/maintenance, operations, measurement/analytics, communications, technical services and travel
• Managing inventory (including, but not limited to motorcycle, transportation and display equipment)
• Main point-of-contact and decision authority for agency partner who manages tour setup/teardown, on-site staffing, consumer experience and logistics
• Ensuring all suppliers and partners are trained appropriately for on-site functions
• Negotiating and securing contracts and insurance requirements while working with internal Legal and Risk groups
• Timeline development and management
• Budget development and management, including expense reports, and all Finance requirements including but not limited to PO submissions, A/P and A/R approvals and tracking
• Facilitate Indirect Procurement requirements for purchasing needs
• Creative studio requests and approvals based on brand guidelines
• Timely development and sharing of event and program recaps

Applicant must be able to think on his/her feet and must be able to execute and plan events simultaneously.
