Aquent's Fortune 50 client is looking for a Project Manager (Shopping Browser, Email) to work a 6-month contract on-location for 40 hours/week, in Atlanta, GA.

This role will serve as the primary contact to the CRM team, marketing, creative and production support and agency partner for emails. You will be responsible for managing the process from start to finish by keeping the team projects on-task, within budget and within expectations of project timelines. This individual will work with Sr. Manager/leadership to prioritize projects and act as the primary chair in owning deliverables of the team.


  • Work directly with the copy and marketing teams to proof dynamic materials and ensure an optimal customer experience prior to deployment. (banners will be frequently updated, so attention to detail is key)
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with internal clients & external agency partners
  • Develop strategic recommendations for enhancements based on analytics
  • Learn and report on best practices, industry standards, and technical requirements associated with assigned projects
  • Apply internal brand guidelines and key marketing initiatives to work across channels to drive fully integrated and consistent campaigns

    What will a typical day look like?
  • 30% Monitor day-to-day progress of campaigns to make sure that deadlines are met, troubleshoot and solve issues, and ensure email embodies a complete and relevant customer experience. You will also document and develop supporting processes as needed, as well as monitor program hours on a monthly basis to ensure proper utilization of team members. You will also manage variances and communicate progress and issues to management.
  • 30% Coordinate the planning and execution of interactive and traditional direct marketing programs on strategy and on budget.
  • 10% Consult with production, marketing, creative, agency partners and others when appropriate to develop strategic solutions to objectives.
  • 10% Craft recommendations and ongoing enhancement/optimization strategies based on analysis of campaigns. You will need to also measure ongoing effectiveness of programs against target metrics.
  • 20% Guide email through process based on CRM & marketing strategy objectives. Send proofs to all internal partners to create visibility and gain approvals of all campaigns. Q/A & test emails to ensure segmentation and content is correct before deployment.
