Project Manager

Contractor will manage day-to-day creative efforts within the Retail business developing in-store marketing and communications materials to be executed in support of products and strategic platforms across all retail channels (Direct, Indirect, etc). This includes static POP and digital elements. will lead agency partners and manage/execute individual projects ensuring they are completed on time, on budget and on strategy.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Strategy:
Ability to drive lead strategy, use technology solutions and work with partners to create best in class retail experiences. Own the brand at retail and drive full integration within all elements and opportunities.

Full Cycle Project Management:
Responsible for management and coordination of multiple projects. Tasks include; project brief writing, creative reviews and collection of feedback, legal review coordination, project roll out, testing, optimization and analytics. Manage project schedules, client/team status reports; proactively communicate job status to the senior team and partners as appropriate.

Cross Channel Integration:
Responsible for communication and integration with inter and cross channel teams. This is critical as projects tend to have many key stakeholders who all play a role in successful launch of a product or service. Successful candidate will manage ongoing communication with stakeholders for applicable projects. One specific area is collaborating with planning & engineering teams to drive inputs into customer journey or integrating marketing messaging within a product or service.

General Production Coordination:
Coordinate interactive/static experiences and production. Tasks may include: Product and app demos/graphics, image sourcing and review, creative round and staging reviews.

Analytics / Reporting:
Manages and reviews ongoing reporting needs. Delivers additional reporting needs to senior team based on request.

Research:
Works with agency partners to gather data and report on Verizon and competitors’ use of creative, interactive, static and other relevant marketing mediums and strategies; gathers data and reports general industry research including trends and consumer information; assists with preparation of weekly, monthly, and/or annual audits.

Understands project budgets and financial management processes

Required Experience
7+ years work experience. Including 3 years managing digital programs/managing or working at an agency.
Relevant consumer marketing experience in the retail channel or technology fields.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience

Other:
Travel 20%
Availability during non-business hours, as needed
