Project Manager

Project Manager to work with Creative, Design and Marketing teams.

Job Description:

- Organize and drive team members in delivery of NCNU marketing projects with focused discipline and planning
- Maintain schedules on time, and on budget to meet business goals.
- Balance requirements and manage workflow in both internal creative services studios and with external vendors.
- Support strategic alignment.
- Simultaneously manage execution of multiple fast-moving digital and print projects and campaigns.
- Expertise creating and managing to timelines with a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - drive collaboration across functional group within the project.
- Train team members on (upgraded) project processes.
- Provide consistent status updates; reporting schedule, cost, scope, work load, and project team performance.
- Build/maintain evolving schedules from creative development through production, including frequent changes to timeline.
- Knowledge of production verbiage (both digital and print) and software tools
- Provide leadership to project team
- Has authority to prioritize project tasks based on capacity, due dates & critical path.
- Ability to think quickly, solve problems and offer solutions.
- High communication & organization skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.


Knowledge/Skills Required

- Strong problem solving skills: Identifies and analyzes problems; distinguishes between relevant/irrelevant information to make logical decisions
- Leadership skills, displays confidence and ability to energize and lead team thru obstacles and to completion of deliverables and project
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills with audiences of all levels
- Ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and to develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
- 8+ years of project management experience in a marketing environment
- Advertising or Marketing Agency experience
- Experience with digital advertising projects (sites, rich media, social media, etc.)
- Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; ability to recommend solutions
- PMP Certification (Preferred)

Project Scope

- Onsite in Emeryville, 40 hours a week (flexibility with days to work from home)
- Temporary to permanent position
