A digital agency in Portland, OR is looking for a Senior Interactive Producer to bring their experience, strategic thinking, and technical knowledge from previous projects to bear on producing content-rich responsive websites built on robust Content Management Systems. You should provide insights based on the needs of the project, the client, and the agency.

As a Senior Interactive Producer, you’ll act as a key point of contact, guiding the team to project victory, enabling team members to do their best work. This means keeping team members accountable to project deliverables and deadlines by clearly setting expectations and understanding project requirements. You can keep both the big picture ideas and small picture details in focus, and bring the right parts of the team to bear at the right moments to keep projects moving forward. You take accountability, scope, and deadlines seriously.

You are steadfast, panic-resistant, and drama free. You are familiar with and comfortable using internet based project management tools, and you leverage your organizational talents to ensure that to do lists are maintained for all key team members. You also recognize that clients are members of the larger team, and you include them in communications when appropriate. You are comfortable communicating with them one on one as you would any other team member, which also means holding them accountable to their own deadlines and deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in design and web development focused environments
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping timelines and resource needs
  • Work with internal team leads to create and manage project schedules, setting and communicating milestones to internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold both internal team members and clients accountable to project scope, deliverables and milestones
  • Set next steps and to-do items for all team members, with clear expectations about when they will be done, and the follow through to make sure they are done
  • Provide proactive and clear communication between the project team and client team on a regular and timely basis so there is visibility and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Be able to respond to client requests and route communications efficiently and appropriately
  • Materially participate in defining and scoping projects in conjunction with the account and project team, including strategy, design and development
  • Manage and project resource availability to forecast resource utilization and identify needs for external resources where appropriate
  • Assist in tracking and managing project budgets to support the owners in business planning
  • Grace under pressure and a positive attitude regardless of stress levels and pressure, and the ability to instill the same attitude in team members
  • Proactive management and communication approach. The ability to see a step or three ahead of the team and plan accordingly

  • If this sounds like you apply now!
