LEADERSHIP: Establish their role in the organization as the trusted resource to inspire teams to action, facilitate the right conversations at the right time, build high performing teams that endure, drive results through a mix of collaboration, targeted inquiry, and advocating positions, and aligning strategy with short and long term deliverables.

PROGRAM EXECUTION: Drives cross-functional execution of programs, from requirements to delivery and ensures that programs deliver on time with high quality, in accordance with business and technical objectives.

PLANNING & TRACKING: Creates, optimizes, and drives structured schedules and project plans across projects and cross-functional teams. Sets and meets deadlines with quality deliverables, effectively adapting and modifying plans based on changing data or conditions. Assists in planning and ensuring that a project tracks to resources, time to market, and budget constraints. Assists in ensuring adherence to quality & other relevant standards (e.g. interoperability, architectural compliance, industry compliance). Tracks open issues and effectively negotiates to impact decisions and trade-offs and to guide issues within internal and external groups to resolution. Holds program team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverables.

RISK MGMT & PROBLEM SOLVING: Anticipates, identifies, documents, and manages key program risks, proposing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Identifies cross-functional dependencies and tracks and reports on their progress. Proposes workable solutions to problems by analyzing business and technical trade-offs among alternatives, and uses objective judgment and influence to formulate and drive consensus on recommendations.

PRIORITIZATION: Balances process compliance with critical few and achievement of business objectives to consistently make the right strategic trade-offs for the program. Assigns priorities to multiple competing and important program team activities quickly and effectively and communicates them appropriately.

COMMUNICATION AND COORDINATION: Frames communication and discussions for the intended audience, with appropriate context and line of sight. Documents and communicates status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders and senior management. Effectively communicates to stakeholders with vetted communication plans. Ensures that the appropriate documents exist and are broadly communicated to drive shared vision among the program teams. Creates clearly understandable & actionable success criteria, objectives, and requirements and communicates them to the team. Conducts program and cross-functional team meetings to update status, and identify and resolve issues. Achieves quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration.

• Undergraduate Degree or higher
• Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 5 or more years leading complex software application delivery projects, organizational change leadership programs, and/or end-to-end process design programs in the Financial Services Industry. PMI PMP Certification strongly desired. Will consider other training and certification practices.
• Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels. Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs
• Demonstrated program management experience—effectively managed multiple projects or programs that involve several cross functional teams.
• Progressive financial and program oversight and accountability reflecting full project lifecycle, system development lifecycle, multiple geographic locations, and complex user organizational structures.
• Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points.
• Solutions orientated, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, system architecture, SaaS and cloud environments, including a proven ability to apply pragmatism
• Strong Agile leadership and practice with proven history of implementing and coaching teams into an Agile model
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, including business writing and presentations.
• Strong experience with MS Office, MS project, Jira, and online collaborative and social tools
