One of Vitamin T's favorite clients is looking for a Project Manager! This position is slated to start on May 15th and last for approximately one month. You will need to be onsite at our client's office 40 hours a week. There is a strong possibility of being extended. This is an outstanding opportunity for a project manager that enjoys a fast faced agency environment while working with an outstanding group of people for one of Seattle's most respected agencies.

Job Description

Project managers provide the interface between clients and internal resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget and that the work meets clients’ expectations. Project managers work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Individuals must understand project processes, support collaboration, and facilitate delivery.

Essential Functions
■ Level of effort estimation and scope definition

■ Develop and maintain project schedules

■ Initiate and manage work according to the schedule, budget, and requirements

■ Educate clients on project process, schedule, and scope

■ Plan, secure, and update resource hours

■ Manage budget, timeline, and resource utilization

■ Control scope, pursue resolution to budget conflicts

■ Facilitate communication with clients, teams, and management, including escalation as needed

■ Lead project kick-offs, reviews, and retrospectives

■ Regular status reporting

■ Prompt meeting notes with action items and deadlines

■ Risk and dependency management

■ Follow up to ensure client satisfaction and internal project success

■ Internal profitability reporting

■ Invoice initiation and review

Professional Skills

■ Confidence leading both internal and client-facing meetings

■ Experience managing development, quality assurance testing, and deployment projects

■ Understanding of advertising and marketing trends and best practices

■ Excellent time management and prioritization

■ Accountability for budgets

■ Ability to develop and maintain relationships at any level

■ Creative and thoughtful negotiation skills

■ Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills

■ Microsoft Project, and OneNote proficiency preferred

■ Familiarity with scrum or other agile methodologies preferred

Education/Experience Requirements

Typically requires a four-year degree with a marketing, sales, or business orientation as well as three to five years of related experience with marketing or project management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment or equivalent.
