The Creative Services Project Manager is accountable for managing project workflow within the department. This consists of: receiving, reviewing and/or creating new project briefs, setting schedules, maintaining calendars and documentation of all processes and projects, working with teams to meet schedules, acting as liaison and facilitator with project team members. In addition, the PM will provide project management follow-through and accurate delivery. This position is required to lead creative team meetings, gathering and distributing information about projects to all parties involved, as well as managing partner’s expectations and requests. This position will have a strong roll in developing, documenting and executing all new and/or updated department processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and maintains solid cross-functional relationships; encourages a collaborative approach with departmental team members.
• Manages steady state projects assuring process adherences, meeting facilitation, follow ups and takeaways and supports creative teams through out.
• Facilitates all publishing milestones as related to Creative Services (EFR, BL, CFP, Art/Copy Due, ELOFR)
• Supports and facilitates the CMMI process.
• Oversee Individual Video Projects – Partners with photo, copy, photographers, production partners, ICS and PR, to manage budgets, deliverables, approvals and adherence to video process.
• Supports creative process and collaboration with ICS. (What’s new, VSAA, Home and Landing Pages, Email, facebook and Twitter)
• Traffics images to and from all outside sources. Gathers assets for assigned projects.
• Mega Brand Liason
• Manages Pink Process – Steady State
• Ensures all creative marketing requests are fulfilled by photo, copy and design teams.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• In house Creative Department or Ad agency account/project management experience preferably including print, direct marketing campaigns, online, promotions, TV, and radio for Retail Fashion
• Strong understanding of the benefits of the above communication channels, with the ability to match the channel with the client’s communication need.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, both through idea generation and assessment of ideas generated by others.
• Team player with excellent relationship building skills.
• Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Adept at crisis management.
• Resourceful and solution oriented.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management skills, highly organized and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to gain client trust and effectively manage client expectations.
• Strong understanding of design and print/web production.
• Successful track record at client service in a marketing or creative environment.
