Project Manager

Project Manager to work for a leading financial services technology company in Westlake Village, CA. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage project plans to launch multiple programs over the next several months.

Responsibilities Include:
• Work cross-functionally within established practices to assist in the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental and external teams.
• Develop detailed project schedules, project timing estimates, and resource plans
• Leverages project plans to assess and solve for any risk to delivering on expected outcomes
• Coordinate with internal partners to gather business requirements and develop project plans
• Lead and facilitate status update meetings to keep projects on-time
• Ensure follow through of project plans with key stakeholders
• Monitor project activities ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information
• Monitor projects for inefficiencies or disconnects and recommend solutions
• Prioritizes and pivots as needed to deliver on our objectives
• Receives little instructions on day-to-day work and general instructions for new assignments
• Interacts with outside vendors as needed

Required Skills:
Primary Skills Required:
• 5+ years of project management experience with some time spent in large, matrixed organizations
• Proficient in one or more project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF
• Proven ability to manage deadlines
• Demonstrated success in driving to outcomes on-time and within budget
• Ability to develop strategies to ensure project success
• Flexibility to handle directional changes and proficient at managing multiple project concurrently
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Networks with contributors to advance knowledge and optimize solutions
• Collaborates and builds strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization to deliver on our priorities
• Works well under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who is able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Manages time effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Proficient with QuickBase
• CAPM Certification
