Vitamin T is currently in search of a Project Manager for our client in Metro Detroit. This is a long term opportunity!

While supporting assigned projects, the Implementation Specialist may be assigned responsibility to assist with project planning as well as assignment of specific project tasks. As assigned by the Project Manager (PM), this position will provide assistance to the PM in meeting PMO expectations of project controls and standards.

Responsibilities Include:

Document current state and develop improvements to project analysis and project evaluation processes
Utilize Microsoft Project to develop standard work plans and associated reporting tools to track project progress and percentages complete.
Develop and maintain organization of project document file structure within project portal.
Development and implementation of other information organization tools
Develop and manage project document version control standards and monitor team compliance.

Administer project application tools (Sharepoint issue tracker, SharePoint) by managing account access and project-specific configuration.
Review and monitor updates to issue tracking and risk tracking logs/tools.
Assist with reviews and updating of master project plan(s).
Verify weekly or monthly project time-tracking data and conduct variance analysis.
Provide project orientation for new project staff members
Collect project status data and update weekly project status dashboard with relevant information.
Monitor and document progress of completion for a project activity segment, or multiple segments.
Collect project status data and draft weekly or monthly status reports for project manager.
Assist in compilation of weekly and monthly status reports for project/program.
SUPPORT FOR ASSIGNED PROJECTS AND PMO OPERATIONS: As necessary to support projects and PMO operations, the revenue cycle applications project coordinator will be assigned to perform administrative duties. Assigned tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support meeting and presentation logistics by facilitating the identification of participants, coordinating participant/room availability and session requirements/constraints, scheduling the session and communicating the meeting specifics to the appropriate staff.
Conduct assigned meeting/session preparation tasks to include agenda preparation/distribution, session material preparations, and session equipment reservation/set-up.
Develop draft presentation and document files as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on Healthcare, Business, Finance, or related field. 2+ years experience in a managed care organization is preferred. Significant and demonstrated experience using MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and LiveMeeting . Experience using MS SharePoint . Experience administering a SharePoint site is preferred. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Experience working on implementation systems project. Experience in process improvement and standards development. Demonstrated experience in administering complex projects. Knowledge of managed care principles . Knowledge of State Managed Medicaid rules and regulations. General Knowledge of quality and process improvement strategies. General Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), URAC or general accreditation. Working knowledge of program design and evaluation, and change management . Knowledge of health care information systems applications.
