Project Manager

Our client, an agency in Boston, is looking for a project manager to join their team to cover a maternity leave starting in late August/early September.
This position is onsite and full time hours and has the possibility of being extended.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the proper and timely execution of each step of the software development lifecycle.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders (internal and clients), engineers, QA, and management to gather project requirements, construct a development plan and timeline, and execute that plan while identifying and alleviating blocks and dependencies along the way.
- Direct, manage, and participate in the day-to-day oversight of cross-functional project teams
- Run an agile and iterative project management process across teams, including sprint planning, check-ins, resource scheduling, QA coordination, client check-ins and beta launches.
- Understand and communicate complex technical and UI requirements.
- Adeptly push teams to deliver quality results on an aggressive schedule.
- Fearlessly meet deadlines across multiple, simultaneous projects or sub-projects.
- Communicate effectively with cross-company contacts and clients, internal resource teams and third-party vendors about project requirements, schedules, and launches.
- Build strong relationships with cross-company contacts and clients based on thorough planning, timely and professional communication, and intelligent problem-solving.

Nice to haves:
- Experience working on a SaaS product
- Have some experience with HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics)
- Have familiarity with issue tracking systems such as JIRA.

Required Qualification:
- Professional project management experience at a digital startup or software company
