Our top marketing research client is looking to hire a project manager on a contract-to-hire basis with a high likelihood of converting this person to full time. If interested, please apply and include your updated resume, as well as a paragraph on why you would be a good fit for the position.

Key goals of position:
Supervise project management activities for syndicated studies.. Responsibilities including but not limited to defining, planning and implementing projects systematically.

Optimize resources though the use of strong project management and project management software.

Monitor and report health of individual projects and your portfolio of projects using established metrics.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing project management best practices.


Responsibilities:
Document the scope of the project/opportunity.

Identify and solicit internal labor requirements.

Identify project requirements and artifacts required.

Manage the development of the project plan, sequence of project activities, and project timeline.

Identify and prioritize project risks and assess their probability of occurrence and impact.

Maintain project plan and management reporting dashboards.

Monitor ongoing project activities to ensure study delivers as planned. Identify and recommend corrective actions to address issues and risks.

Assess project viability when changes are introduced.

Assemble project artifacts and QA checklists.

Implement and monitor Quality Assurance plan.

Estimate internal labor and external operating expenses.

Develop and maintain project budgets. Update forecast.

Monitor project financial health and ensure study delivers within budget.

Identify opportunities to decrease costs/increase margins.

Coordinate all internal department approvals required for project delivery.

Communicate effectively with internal departments.

Monitor consistency in processes across all facets of project management.

Identify variances and recommend corrective actions.

Support and contribute meaningfully to initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency, quality, and cost control.


Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

Minimum of 3-6 years of project management experience (market research background preferred but not required).

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.

Demonstrated experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (or similar software applications)
