Project Manager – High Street Retail- London – contract- c£180 a day

Project Manager has a thorough working knowledge of all agency systems and production processes. They make sure that work progresses through the system to meet deadlines. On a day-to-day basis, they are aware of the job status.

You will regularly oversee that all team members are informed of the status of all on going projects, so that all disciplines work together to get the work out on time and to budget. Moreover, the PM has extremely high standards regarding the detail, quality and accuracy of all materials that leave the agency. Indeed, such elements are of the utmost importance to them.

The post holder produces accurate cost estimates for all job briefs and verifies that the client accepts them before work proceeds. Further, the PM guarantees that all campaigns run to the agreed client budgets. Once completed, they oversee that all internal recharging of work is completed and submitted on time.

As an ambassador for our client the Project Manager works hard and consistently under high levels of pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Accurately estimating costs through the relevant internal streams for jobs following the receipt of new briefs
• Taking ownership of team tasks to make sure that they complete on time, based on the given
• Updating MIS on a regular basis and continuing to monitor where we are in line with the annual forecast
• Building key relationships with all Marketing
• Showing a passion for the client’s business and caring about the work as much as they do

• Developing a deep understanding of client business and of the broader factors and trends shaping clients markets and categories
• Looking for opportunities to engage in broader business dialogue with clients
• An excellent judge of creative work
• Keeping all internal teams updated on relevant client / account issues at project and strategic levels
• Tracking time through MIS to ensure that timesheets are accurate

Key Skills / Experience and Qualifications Required

• Ability to run projects from start to completion, and willingness to seek guidance at key milestones

Experience Required
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ work in a retail, publishing or print / account management environment
• 3 years’ account handling or client facing project management experience
• Broad experience in the delivery of FMCG campaigns
• Previous work across various media channels (including advertising / POS / outdoor / online/ digital and print)
• Management and coaching of direct reports
• Experience of people management
• Understanding of IT Data Flow and Project Management
