The Intel Project Manager will manage the development and implementation of aspects of projects related to driving incremental sales of computers. This project manager will interface with key functional areas including merchandising, marketing, inventory/planning, sales and promotions, visual merchandising, and store operations, to drive initiatives designed to grow the computer business.
Examples are: improving the visual representation and messaging of PCs in the circular, in-store, and online; designing a new POG to improve how we show new technology (e.g., Ultrabooks, all-in-ones); improving our digital marketing of the PC business and how we work across channels.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Drive incremental unit sales of PCs across all Staples business units
Partner with Staples and Intel executives to understand and evaluate opportunities for growth
Manage a pipeline of projects and work internally to ensure all deliverables are being met
Execute campaigns and/or implement programs to drive unit sales, examples being:
Improving the way we promote computers on ad
Improving the shop-ability of computers in-store and online
Designing a new POG to better show new technology
Improving our digital marketing strategy and funding allocation
Interface with other groups internally on behalf of Intel (e.g., developing value-add services with Easytech team around identity protection technology and small business advantage)
Report on results both internally at Staples and externally to strategic partners
