Our client, a leading Fortune 500 organization in Hartford, is looking for a talented Project Manager to help support the eBusiness and Digital group. This person will be responsible for providing tactical leadership associated with the management of this online sales collateral portal. The online tool is a software product purchased through a third party and used to deliver marketing and sales materials to sales agents in the field. This position is responsible for daily management of the site, project workflow, new material posting/customization, oversight of customized orders placed by agents and data integrity of this portal. Working with internal support groups, the position will be instrumental in the development of new functionality and improvements to existing.
Administrative/Technical Management of Portal: 60%Resolve user and/or order process day-to-day issues, including management of email help inbox and Remedy.Escalation of any user issues to appropriate person for approval.Maintain SharePoint database of requests and store data that currently is not stored on platform.Weekly customization and programming for assets that will be ordered as print on demand through the vendor. Approval of all print on demand orders placed by our agents to ensure consistency and adherence to our brand standards.Aid in the testing of upgrades on our test site as well as when they go into production.Create and disseminate usage reports, by segment.Manage monthly billing statements.
Project Management/Business Lead 40%Drive and manage integrated planning and end-to-end process efforts to improve the user experience and functionality of the site. Partner with vendor to resolve day-to-day technical issues. Escalate issues to appropriate approver if necessary; follow up in a timely manner to come to resolution.Lead team meetings with vendor and our segment leaders.Partner with clients and be a leader in the direction of project scope, process design/change, business requirements and future improvements to the site.Provide clients with cost estimates obtained from the vendor for any adhoc modifications.Partner with clients and graphic artists on best practices for customization of each piece.
