Contract assignment for 3-4 months (phase 1 of project) with possibility to last 7 months (for phase 2)
Onsite in Ipswich, MA
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a phase two implementation of Salesforce.com in their Marketing department. This individual will also assist senior members of Marketing with generating ideas and defining what is needed for another Sales/Marketing program they are working on. They need someone with extremely strong listening skills and someone who is very organized.
The client has "freezer programs" they sell to universities, labs, etc. and they need someone to head up the marketing for that. This person will work closely with IT.
There are 2 phases to the project; the first phase (Salesforce.com) is quite neatly defined – the second phase is a bigger, automatic interactive consignment program (Next Generation Freezer Program) This phase is a bit ambiguous and some expectations of project are still loose.
Looking for a PM who will be able to balance these two opposite ends of spectrum. Ideally, someone more experienced in commercial marketing space (preferably in life sciences field) This person will need to be able to bring teams together around the ideas of project phases and being able to look at 4th - 5th month from a marketing standpoint or fulfillment or chain supply standpoint. The PM needs to be able to develop and maintain relationship with their 3rd party vendor and other various relationships – and then introduce to the team, all while acting as a liaison at the same time.
Ideal background: Strong commercial/supply chain/marketing experience
