Our client in Santa Barbara is looking for a Project Manager for a long-term contract-to-hire role, supporting their Web Marketing team!

Objectives of Position:
The Customer Marketing Project Manager will work closely with Marketing Program Managers, Marketing Managers, designers, and developers to define, execute, and track customer marketing communications including emails, landing pages, welcome tours, and in-product messaging.

This challenging position requires a skilled technical marketer with experience in building, customizing, deploying, and optimizing complex email campaigns and interactive programs. The qualified applicant also possesses a well-rounded understanding of email and internet marketing campaigns, as well as understanding of databases and list management.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Manage Customer Marketing Team pipeline, prioritization criteria, and projects

• Work with internal stakeholders and requestors to translate business strategies and requirements into operational requirements for designers and developers

• Ensure that marketing campaigns are correctly launched, delivered on-time, accurately tracked, and continually improved upon

• Lead the ongoing evolution of the company's skills and infrastructure surrounding customer marketing best practices; improve current project management process and provide subject matter expertise on email marketing operations, best practices and regulation, including CAN-
SPAM, CASL, and online privacy

• Implement email campaigns with StrongView and Marketo: blueprint campaigns, test email deliverability, execute email campaigns

• Measure and report on campaign results and compare against baselines and benchmarks Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedules, facilitates, and documents meetings related to campaigns and projects, delivers pertinent notes and action items from meetings

• Work with and manage relationships with outside vendors

Knowledge and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing with a minimum of 3 years email marketing

• Expert in email best practices including contact strategies, design, A/B testing, delivery, segmentation, and analytics/performance management

• Strong project management, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

• Proficiency with the Internet, Web HTML workflow and Microsoft® Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
