Project Manager

NOTE: 2-3 years exp (not a senior level role) - will be PM on smaller projects that will role up to a program. Not looking for a text book PMP - must be able to work in a fast paced envt/ on-site/ no remote/ there will be OT.

Must have a background in infrastructure/ systems
Understand SW development and how it’s a dependency for infrastructure. Currently project is in execution phase…not planning but the PM will need to plan on their own within schedule (Microsoft project).

Work closely with the product teams and with Shared Services and partners, integrating software products with systems infrastructure to create a seamless end to end customer experience.
The scope for this project manager will be to drive projects specific to the initiative.

The ideal candidates will have a solid background in both IT infrastructure and software development, understanding each discipline and how they work together.
Candidates will also have a strong facilitative leadership background since the position is leading by influence rather than direct authority.
Candidates will also have strong driving and collaboration skills to work across large diverse teams.
Effective liaison and communication/presentation skills at all levels are also critical since this key strategic driver will need to partner with both engineering teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications:
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, business (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years Technical Project Management experience. Includes understanding of SDLC and systems infrastructure principles and how they interrelate.
• Strong driving and collaboration/coordination skills. Experience facilitating across large diverse cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills to understand issues and work collaboratively to identify root cause.
• Effective communication & liaising across a wide range of audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, planning, and attention to detail are also required.
• Internally motivated, quick learner, self-starter with ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results.
• Must work well under pressure, balancing multiple priorities and objectives. Handles conflict well.
• Demonstrated leadership working in a broad cross-functional environment.
• Past experience working with SaaS/cloud applications and enterprise technology.
• Needs to be able to act in a war room setting to execute activities quickly.
• The ideal candidate will be Hands-on, able to re-mediate client issues and be comfortable taking a call from a client.

We are seeking a person who IS NOT the traditional Text Book Style PM. Looking for that coachable, open minded person who can communicate concisely and clearly and has worked in a small company with 100-150 employees.
