Vitamin T is looking for a Project Manager to step in for a 30-day contract with one of our awesome clients in Ballard!

Our client is a direct marketing agency that is steadily gaining momentum with regional and national clients based on their ability to do great work and generate breakthrough results. As a Project Manager, you will be the expert in the direct mail production process and be responsible for the error-free production of projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the agency founder, production vendors, and creative partners. You'll also assist with coordinating and getting proofs to clients. This position requires a detail-oriented person to drive a variety of projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creative development process, managing writers, designers, proofreaders, and other partners to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Create and manage standard operating procedures and the proofing process to ensure flawless execution of direct marketing plans.
• Communicate with clients about creative proofs and project schedules.
• Manage existing vendor relationships for successful programs and build standard processes for production management and quality control.
• Lead new vendor research, selection and training.
• Write and deliver project specifications, bid requests, data processing and production instructions for vendors.
• Look for opportunities to further develop business
• Assist the agency principal with additional tasks relating to estimating, agency marketing and office administration as time allows.

Other Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project or Production Manager. Ideally with experience in print production, letter shop or direct marketing agency environment.
• Thorough understanding of project management and quality control principles and their application to direct mail print and online media.
• Expertise with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to work a 40+ hour work week to accomplish performance objectives. (Occasionally)
