Aquent has an immediate need for a Project Manager for a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 - 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The position requires an advanced skill level in the following competencies:
• Deploy, interface, enhance and guide data conversion and systems retirement activities expected with a M&A driven project
• Lead cross team efforts to resolve complex technology issues
• Track project progress, address issues, identify and mitigate risks
• Build relationships with peers, business partners, and vendors
• Navigate change request prioritization and negotiation • Execute formal project management methodology\SDLC
• Assemble and deliver written and verbal communications
• Ability to work independently and work on a fast paced, high pressure team. This role requires an innate ability to multitask, above-par skills in managing up and down the organization as well as the skill of working in a fast paced, changing environment where successful dealing with ambiguity is key.
