We are seeking a highly-motivated Project Manager to help manage and drive all Interactive and Technical projects including CMS migrations, IT software development, and production deployments. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and be able to work within a team or with a vendor to provide a solution or solve a problem. Prior experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and working with modern web architectures and technologies is a huge plus. This position will be responsible for working with client services, creative, and technology teams to ensure Threshold is delivering world-class projects and delighting its clients.

As a Project Manager, you will possess a thorough understanding of technical project management, and delivery of web-based systems, incorporating best practices in project estimation, team leadership, consulting accountability, and the development of highly scalable, maintainable, and secure web solutions. You will ideally have PMP certification and deep experience with the interactive agency business model, as well as familiarity with technical design documents and software development.



Responsibilities:

Manage projects throughout the project lifecycle including planning, design, development, deployment, and closure.
Determine project milestones and actively measure project progress against milestones to ensure timely and successful completion.
Ensure the project follows the proper planning and execution as outlined in the project management methodology.
Work with stakeholders to determine and prioritize business objectives, critical success factors, and project risks.
Develop and maintain key project deliverables: project plans, scope documents, communication plans, status reports, and issue management plans.
Work with the client services, creative, and technical team to gather and document requirements.
Translate requirements into detailed project plans and schedules.
Provide status updates to the client and executive management and routinely generate dashboards and low-level project plans.
Scope and manage the project (budget, schedule, scope, resources.)
Carefully control changes to the project scope, following the defined change control process.
Monitor all project processes and operations for time and resource efficiencies, cost management, and process improvement opportunities. Take corrective action to stay within time and expense limits.
Ensure that project communication, both internally and to clients, is strong throughout the duration of the project. Prepare ongoing reports to keep project stakeholders informed.
Coordinate asset handoffs from team to team, and / or to client representatives.
Proactively identify issues and risks. Assess risks and issues, prepare mitigation plans, and present options to project stakeholders.
Ensure that development quality, cost, budget and time objectives are met.
Facilitate innovation and creativity.
Develop strong relationships with current and potential technology partners.

Content Management Systems Migrations
Website development
Social media campaigns
Email campaigns
Coupons
Online sweepstakes
Interactive games

Desired Skills & Experience

Required:

3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager with 2+ years in the interactive space.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.
Project Management Institute certification (CAPM, PMP, PgMP, etc.) or demonstrable progress toward obtaining certification.
Demonstrated experience managing time, cost, risk, quality, resources, assets, and changing requirements.
Strong ability to clearly explain issues of reliability, scalability, security, and extensibility.
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior staff.
Thorough understanding of how to use Microsoft Project to effectively manage projects.
