Being a Project Manager means you are wrangling designers and clients every day. You're budget-conscious, timeline-loving, persuasive-talking self thrives on getting creative projects done. If this sounds like you, keep reading. You're a seasoned leader, experienced in a variety of brand design projects: from catalogs to retail graphics to digital to video and more. You can effectively lead an internal team as well as manage client expectations.

A proven ability to negotiate pricing, push priorities, drive projects, and show calmness under tight schedules and deadlines is a given. More importantly, do you have a POV on design management? Are you driven to change the game? Can you bring inspiration and a shared energy to our team? There's no room for bad attitudes, personal agendas, backstabbing, front stabbing, finger pointing.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with Account Manager to define project strategy and scope, create budget estimates, and write Statements of Work and Change Orders.
  • Manage creative teams on design deliverables: visual centers, catalogs, retail graphics, digital, etc.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of projects including day-to-day client communication, client negotiation, scope, risk mitigation, timelines, scheduling, execution, and delivery.
  • Create project schedules and ensure team awareness of all timelines, review schedules, deliverables and allocated hours


  • SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years in project management, with increasing responsibility at the senior producer/project manager level, preferably in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing and advertising campaigns, including branding, print, interactive and retail components
  • Ability to lead a team to produce great work with a strong focus on collaboration
  • Extensive client-facing exposure and account direction; comfortable leading meetings internally and off-site
  • Strong financial negotiation, personal presentation skills and problem solving abilities
  • Knowledgeable in outdoor lifestyle brands: footwear, apparel, equipment
