Project Manager

The Project Manager works closely with account, planning, creative and production to ensure efficient workflow and encourage a collaborative work environment. The current position is directly supporting digital projects which may include banner ads, mobile apps and web development. The Project Manager must encourage integration with broadcast, CRM and print at the campaign level. Our freelance project manager opens job jackets, gathers resources, develops timelines, schedules internal reviews and status meetings as well as routes creative through the agency.
• Heavy experience with project management/traffic functions, preferably within a full-service integrated advertising agency with a working knowledge of broadcast, digital and print work streams.
• Must possess a complete understanding of agency process.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent people management skills; ability to lead a group of people across functions by defining tasks and deliverables, empower team members, diffuse conflict and encourage collaboration.
• Pleasant, approachable, yet assertive. Must work effectively with a variety of personality types.
• Ability to continually work ahead of the curve to anticipate workflow obstacles.
• Solution-oriented; ability to quickly investigate matters from all perspectives and initiate best resolution.
• Highly organized, possess keen attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task under deadline-driven pressure.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project.
• Must be available to work overtime.
