Creative Directors / Operations Director
As a busy creative studio it’s essential to the success of our project delivery that we run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. We would like to bring in a full time member of staff to manage the delivery of our creative projects.
This role exists to make sure that projects happen on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for overseeing successful project delivery and achieving client objectives regarding scope, quality, timing and budget, as well as providing valuable input internally to maintain and improve the overall level of project management within the organisation.
You will be expected to deliver and manage on an international level, projects will include film and photo shoots, events, store launches, interior & set builds and creating retail environments.
Our output is varied, you will have a thorough understanding of the processes involved in the delivery of design, print, moving image, built and digital formats.
You will have practical knowledge in all elements of production and manufacturing processes, with a meticulous eye for detail, and a flair for creative design that brings our ideas to life.
To be successful in this role you need to actively offer solutions not simply raise issues. You will take responsibility for maintaining the high standard of production work delivered by the studio.
You will be commercially aware and responsible for substantial project budgets. You will ensure that jobs are as profitable as possible without any compromise to the creative content.
You will have excellent computer skills, and be able to use Microsoft Office to a high standard, knowledge of InDesign and Streamtime Project Management software is a bonus. PRINCE2 Project Management experience a bonus but not essential.
You will have a thorough understanding of delivery processes and financial systems within an agency environment.
You will have worked in a project management or production management role for a minimum of 3 years, this is a great next step for someone looking for a varied career in Project Management.
Your proven track record will include event management, shoot production experience and overseeing on site built installations.
You will have experience in planning and organizing project plans and production schedules - compiling project timelines, managing budgets, creating build & load in schedules, sourcing and confirming locations and off site logistics, compiling call sheets, method statements and risk assessments.
Internally you will make sure that all jobs have clear briefs, schedule progress meetings, provide updates and identify and manage any potential issues.
You will plan for both the short and long term. However, your plans need to be fluid and you need to be comfortable responding to and managing ever- changing priorities.
You will be highly organised with the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple projects. These attributes will help you and your team to deliver quality work to tight deadlines.
You will be ready to anticipate and support the activities of the rest of the team and work effectively and cooperatively with others.
You will demonstrate you value others’ input and expertise and are willing to learn from others.
You thrive working collaboratively and really enjoy the creative process.
You must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and give confidence and assurance – you must be able to deliver presentations to clients in a confident manner and be comfortable standing up and explaining your ideas with clarity to a large number of people.
Externally, you need to ensure that clients are also proactively managed and know the status of the project at all times. You will keep the company Directors fully briefed regarding progress, issues and communications.
You will be able to develop positive relationship with clients, sub-contractors, and freelancers and be professional and competent managing suppliers, event organisers, crew and staff.
You will be keen to learn and use your knowledge to improve your performance and that of the company.
You will ensure the correct use of project management systems (Streamtime) whilst developing and improving your own procedures and be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.

HOURS OF WORK
9.30am to 6pm 5 days a week
25 days per annum
