Leading Media and Entertainment Client is looking for a Project Manager for a 6 month position with possibility to extend.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting category teams with responsibility for successful end-to-end development of a project. The PM will work with teams to define and clarify project scope and develop a project plan/schedule with tasks, milestones, resources, planned and actual dates, analyze and manage key risks to schedule, quality, and cost – escalating when appropriate, and coordinate activities across functional teams and resolved cross-functional issues at the project level. 

Job Responsibilities: 
Project Leadership & Communication 
• Lead and monitor the global development process, working with their team, external suppliers & business associates to deliver project goals 
• Facilitate development meetings and communicate action plans developed by team 
• Act as the liaison with multi-disciplinary teams and global partners, communicating brand and/or project information 
• Communicate program status to Program Director and other stakeholders 

Project Planning & Reporting 
• Create project development schedules for entire cycle in support of the Global Development Calendar, and prioritize activities of the project team members to ensure adherence to the plan 
• Review project plans with Program Director and cross functional teams to determine project milestones, resources allocation, projects planned and actual dates 
• Suggest innovative ideas and methods for reducing development timelines 
• Track project deliverables and communicate with other Project Managers to identify inter-project dependencies 
• Maintain management reports and ensure data is accurate in informational systems. 

Issue & Risk Management 
• Identify, anticipate, and manage risks or issues at the project level 
• Propose and drive appropriate mitigation and contingency plans 
• Work with cross-functional teams to take corrective action to address issues or mitigate risks, escalating to Program Director and category/brand lead when appropriate 
• Escalate potential schedule risk to the Category/Brand Lead and provide recommendations 
• Partner with global operations to provide early warning of delays and adapt development plans based on market forecast revisions 
• Identify and support continuous process improvements for the global development organization 

Schedule & Performance Management
• Manage programs to time, cost, and quality reflective of market goal 
• Support and drive cross-functional category teams to manage projects including risks, key handoffs, and deliverables 

Resource Management 
• Collaborate with category team leaders to conduct resource planning and assign resources to projects 
• Monitor resource utilization within the project and adjust resource allocation as needed 
• Manage relationships with internal parties and/or external partners 

Education Requirements: 
Bachelors Degree in an engineering or business discipline 

• 5 or more years of relevant experience in Project Management 
• PMP or equivalent certification a plus 
• Product Knowledge a plus 
• Exceptional partnering skills, the ability to listen effectively, influence and gain common vision for what successful outcomes looks like 
• Ability to influence peers and manage both up and down to drive goals 
• Team player able to execute tactically, as well as having the strong communication skills to inspire others 
• Knowledge of project management tools, Office applications and presentation software
