Project Manager

In this assignment with Aquent's client, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, executing and closing all phases of a project. They ensure the direction of a project remains consistent with its overall objectives, commitments and goals. They work closely with Leadership, Program Managers and Designers to highlight and advise on project milestones, risks and opportunities, and communicate changes within the project life cycle as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead the planning and implementation of a project.
• Facilitate defining project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Manage project through entire lifecycle ensuring completion within time and budget.
• Create and deliver project plans, revisions, updates and distribute as necessary.
• Identify project resources, assign responsibilities and track project progress against plan.
• Carry out risk assessment, then identify actions to mitigate risk with follow-up plans and timelines.
• Delivers frequent project updates in the form of verbal, written, and digital communication to leader and program managers.
• Liaison with the Retail Production team to ensure that all global projects are delivered within the scheduled project timelines.
• Participate in business partner meetings and conference calls as needed, domestic and international.
• Role model and advocate for the values, principles, and approaches set forth in client Credo.
• Occasional travel required, both domestic and international.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications
• Knowledgeable of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• Effectively articulates the vision of a project and drives alignment to meet determined objectives.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management.
• Ability to negotiate schedule needs across departmental resources.
• Expertly manages multiple projects or tasks and tracks issues daily.
• Leads projects in a fashion that builds consensus while flushing out risks and roadblocks.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with and influencing team members and business partners at all levels.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills, with refined attention to detail.

EDUCATION & Experience
• 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional working experience is required.
• User experience with client hardware and software products is preferred.
