In this position, you will be working closely with Design Leads, Visual Designers, User Researchers, Product Managers and Engineers to build and maintain a high performing design organization.
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
What You'll Do:
Leadership alignment and execution on priorities.
Establish regular cadence of communication that aligns with design operating engine.
External communication to cross functional teams and other stakeholders .
Vendor management and contractor management.
Quarterly contract renewals .
Monthly, quarterly and annual budget tracking.
Task Management across design organization
Ensure design process and gates across all design teams.
Onboarding of new hires
Meeting logistics and event management
Identify team needs regularly and create action plan (i.e.: software, resources, assets, equipment, etc.)
May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
