Develops project schedule and resource responsibilities and assignments, aligning project plan with constraints identified by project manager during project planning.
Monitors and controls assigned projects during implementation with little to no oversight from assigned project manager.
Updates and maintains all project information in PPM software.
Reports identified risks to project manager for risk assessment with suggested solutions.
Assists project manager with documentation of project plan, project status, and schedules / coordinates / facilitates project meetings.
Assists project manager with client/internal information requests in a timely manner.
Drives information gathering for labor and cost estimates from internal departments and external vendors during budgeting and project definition activities with guidance from the project manager.
Facilitates project meetings and documents / distributes meeting minutes with oversight from project manager.
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experiences (market research background preferred but not required).
General knowledge of PMI’s (Project Management Institute) project management framework (e.g., PMBOK).
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organization skills are essential.
Ability to operate independently and apply critical thinking around complex issues and situations.
Flexibility and adaptability are desired and are keys to success.
Demonstrated experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (or similar software applications)
