Our healthcare client, Aetna, is currently hiring a Project Manager tol act as the Agency point of contact between business areas, Digital Accessibility team, 1557 PMO and Vendors as it relates to ACA Section 1557 PDF remediation activities. This position’s primary responsibility is for managing day-to-day activities related to the accuracy of the 1557 PDF document inventory, tracking and ensuing PDF documents remediated via the on-demand PDF remediation strategy is executed efficiently and timely. Other responsibilities of this position includes the below key responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Function as the point of contact for QuickBase (QB) maintenance, tracking and reporting; working closely with the QB point of contact, Business Area Leads, Agency Leads & PMO Leads as appropriate.
• Monitor and report on performance related to Vendor PDF remediation production. This includes attending meetings with the Agency Leads and Vendor to obtain detailed status on document remediation activities, best practices and corrective action planning (vendor and/or business area).
• Monitor the central mailbox for on-demand PDF remediation requests; work with the Agency design team to initiate internal PDF remediation activities; and, ensure updated accessibly created PDF documents are submitted to the web team for reposting. NOTE: The process is designed to deliver remediated documents to the requester within 3-5 business days of their request so time/project management is crucial.
• Schedule and facilitate PDF document validation and document preparation meetings (pre/post meetings) as required with Business Areas, PMO Lead and the Agency Lead.
• Work with subject matter expert to establish a documented process for confirming PDF Inventory status (all required elements of inventory are met by business).
• Work with appropriate subject matter expert to establish a documented process for capturing and reporting total inventory document volume and estimates pages to be approved by PMO that meet criteria of 1557 remediation.
• Maintain critical path ‘dashboard’ information for leadership (Champions, PMO, the Agency, etc.) reporting.
• Function as a liaison with the Strategic Communications Lead(s) when vendor performance or corrective action planning is required.
• Works with outside agencies, as required, to help build strong agency partnerships.
