Project Manager

Responsibilities
• Project management for all Window and In-Store seasonal projects

Schedule / workflow
• Develop creative schedules for all projects, incorporating existing meetings as possible – this ranges from a simple copy due / creative review schedule to complex calendars with many milestones
• Partner with colleagues to schedule and manage briefings within the overall creative workflow

Resourcing
• Oversee and weigh in on the assignment of projects based on skills and bandwidth and track individual workloads
• Assess workloads continuously based on workflow changes to determine if projects need additional or different resources allocated
• Works with internal business partners to manage and direct the execution of concepts flawlessly, on time and in line with strict budget parameters: marketing, production, creative, legal, visual merch., etc.

Project management
• Ensure creative team and production have clear briefs, deliverables, and schedules in order to successfully meet their deadlines
• Participate in briefings to understand projects and help structure process expectations and deliverables

Facilitate Creative Approvals
• Responsible for obtaining leadership sign off on all seasonal marketing materials on paper in office and also at concept store – Industry City, Brooklyn

Qualifications
• Project Management experience is a must; forward thinking and responsible
• Proven ability to work well with marketing, visual, creative, copy, store design, studio and print production teams
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate cross functional teams
• Ability to manage up to leadership with an understanding of capabilities and limitations of the team at all times
• Ability to think strategically and apply strategic thinking to the management of creative programs
• Experience in retail marketing is preferred
• Flexible, responsive, detail oriented and has commitment to deadlines with strong sense of ownership
• Strong written and communication skills with ability to provide clear, articulate feedback
• Enthusiastic attitude, detail oriented and passion for store experience and the retail industry
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment
• Strong collaborative skills; ability to proactively partner with other creative and strategy leaders, ability to have a commitment to a deadline
• Knowledge of project managing tools (Smart Sheet and Work Front) a plus
• Bachelors degree required
• 7-10 years of project management and/or marketing experience, pref. in retail or apparel
