Our client is a large financial institution in Newark, DE and they are looking for an experience Project Manager to join their team. This Project Manager role would be for the ultra and high net worth individuals and the goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. The Project Manager would help support all end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

This Project Manager role will include involvement with key project stakeholders across the business, coordinating and reporting activities to identify gaps in the policy vs. the various processes. The Project Manager will have the ability to apply critical thinking to drive the effective resolution of identified gaps and communicate effectively to project stakeholders and Senior Management, including monitoring and management for adherence to the Firmwide Policy along with support of enhanced oversight and control.
This Project Manager role requires a strong self-starter who can proactively engage a virtual, cross organizational team without formal direction, and who has senior level interpersonal skills such as influence management, negotiation, and analytical/problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities of Project Manager:
• Manages all aspects of the Record Retention Policy remediation project
• Leads project lifecycle from ideation to project execution and ensures quality and timeliness of project completion
• Act as the point of contact for the project team, business partners and management to provide updates, resolve issues and establish the project delivery vision
• Identifies and documents best practices, and drives implementation
• Independently develops value-adding business solutions
• Directs activities, monitors details, and sets priorities
• Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Compliance and other relevant firmwide guidelines.
• Work with Business Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts, taking a proactive approach to facilitating the review and approval of procedures and supporting documents
• Ability to analyze process, make recommendations for change, document and implement change
• Drives root cause analysis and implements solutions
• Manage the editing and reformatting of existing procedures
• Escalates project issues and risks appropriately, and drives them to resolution
• Communicate results through executive-level presentations and facilitate discussions with senior leaders
• Effectively communicate progress towards milestones / deliverables to key stakeholders

Qualifications
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills and ability to work with people at all levels, including dispute resolution
• Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
• Ability to think globally and articulate impacts of changes / recommendations
• Experienced and proven ability to gather/analyze complex data, develop accurate conclusions and provide recommendations with sufficient comprehension of the business to understand risk implications
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and project management skills
• Effective in a team setting but is also a self-starter
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
• Highly motivated and able to take initiative and help drive projects to successful completion
• Individual must be results driven, have attention to detail, and skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and obstacles
• Forward-looking and creative thinker
• Ops 99 or equivalent (if none, will need to address this requirement within 120 days of starting the role)
