Project Manager / Program Manager

Global technology brand has a need for a Project Manager to program manage the "On Demand" curriculum area and to ensure that Company curriculum and courses are available for learners in a timely manner.

Description:
Supports all phases of projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Liaise with business functions to understand ongoing needs Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

Responsibilities:
• Drive, collaborate, problem solve, and manage a wide range of projects
• Coordinate all aspects of the courseware development process for "On Demand" courses
• Manage projects from end-to-end, starting from project kick-off to project retrospection and to make improvements based on key findings
• Define project scope and objectives, assess project risk, call out assumptions, and make agreements
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Use change management techniques as appropriate
• Coordinate internal resources and vendor resources to deliver all projects on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Provide business requirements to technology teams
• Interfaces with other education teams to manage all aspects of courseware proliferation
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Skills:
• Experience in creating project schedules and tracking project milestones for eLearning or ILT projects
• Ability to apply judgment to resolve competing priorities while working effectively in a fast-changing, fast-paced and demanding environment
• Apply strong leadership and collaborative skills in driving internal and vendor teams while taking projects to completion
• Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Must be motivated self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
• Must have good follow up skills are essential to complete tasks as scheduled
• Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Project management software is a must
• Experience in qualitative or quantitative research or statistics hugely beneficial
• Working knowledge of Adobe Connect, Microsoft SharePoint, Learning Management Systems, Web Portal Technology, Salesforce.com, Oracle E-Business Suite, a plus

Experience and Education Required:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a project or program manager role in an education division for an Enterprise Software Company
• PMP Certification is greatly preferred
