Project Manager - Video & Photography

The video and photo project manager will provide day-to-day planning, scheduling and oversight of all video and image production, from identifying key launches, milestones and stakeholders upfront to coordinating all downstream production, working directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) in engineering, product management, product marketing and product launch operations, as well as directing the external agencies that develop the CGI, create 2D animations, provide studio time and source production crew, to ensure video and image delivery on time and to spec. The project manager works closely with a small team of two video producers and a video art director, as well as a broader team of marketing directors, creative directors, art directors, graphic designers, production artists, copy directors, copywriters, account managers and project managers. Responsibilities include collaborating with key pan-Dell stakeholders to determine and fulfill video and photography production requirements based on product launch roadmaps, corporate priorities as set by the executive leadership team and evolving enterprise business needs. This includes planning, scheduling and prioritizing all production within budget, reprioritizing and adjusting schedules as needed to account for shifting timelines. The project manager will source CAD files from engineering so the agency can build the CGI, as well as drive all CGI and video review and approvals with all key stakeholders, including the corporate product ID team

Specific Skills
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline (PM certification preferred)
• 8-10 years of project management work experience, preferably for a global organization
• Advanced project management skills (planning, scheduling, tracking, resourcing, liaising, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (Clarizen preferred)
• Strong ability to take direction, deliver with little direction and direct external vendors
• Strong ability to multi-task, work on several competing priorities in fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to prioritize and reprioritize throughout the day, communicating updates to all key stakeholders
• Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and partner-building skills
• Strong presentation skills with comfort presenting to management
• Strong organizational agility with the ability to engage across teams at Dell and with external partners
• Extreme attention to detail and consistency, an inherent drive for excellence
• Must be able to clearly communicate project objectives and orchestrate production and approvals
• Experience project managing video and photography for a technology company preferred
