Project Manager - Programs/Operations

Our client is a Seattle-based coffeehouse chain that is looking for a temporary Project Manager who will lead project teams and subteams to develop and implement new programs and process improvements. This person will manage projects in accordance with established program management methodologies and ensure that multiple projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results. They will also manage and monitor project or program schedules, progress and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget, and maintain, adjust and update project plans as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • This PM will manage two time-bound but major projects
  • Planning and tracking all activities from facilities space readiness to overall program launch readiness
  • Present findings and updates to SVPs and above
  • Meeting with team members to lay out detailed plans, tasks, and associated schedules
  • Hold progress meetings (in person and online) with various team and stakeholders
  • Resolve roadblocks and issues
  • Escalate major issues and risks to sponsors
  • Provide status reporting
  • Focus on successful and on time completion of projects 
  • There will be a lot of communication within the cross-functional core team of 5-6 and across the organization
  • This person will also need to communicate with third party vendors
