Project Manager - POS

ROLE
To support and deliver display excellence in store across the EMEA region.
Lead best practice principles for shopper marketing and be an ambassador for implementation with the client's chosen retail partners. Work with client's local market teams to advise, define and procure solutions that are innovative, on brand and will drive awareness and product sales.
Key to the role is a broad understanding and commercial experience of retail marketing in the store channel, working with content and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Become a central point of contact for markets and retail partners to manage on- going maintenance and updates to the client's furniture
• To improve compliance and presence of the brand in store
• Focus on category innovations and learnings that can be leveraged for the brand
• Assist local markets to help drive efficiencies in the procurement of POS from the furniture catalogue including local manufacture
• Leverage best practice principles around the shopper journey
• Manage the co-odination of assets including screen content and messaging frameworks
• Coordinating all of the micro projects and support markets to realise opportunities that are presented to them
• Manage brand compliance
• Demonstrate logistical, production and implementation experience and commercial know how to leverage opportunities
• Located 1 day per week in Slough, 3 – 5 days per month in market and the rest of the time in Central London

NEED TO ACHIEVE
Client
You will be required to interpret numerous project requirements, utilising your ability and experience to drive multiple projects through the business efficiently, accurately, on-time and on budget. You must build client respect for your work and your attitude towards their business and be able to interrogate client thinking and output.
You will have a broad understanding of the clients industry, products and competitors in order to build knowledge and informed opinion that delivers recognised value that builds on their reputation for excellence.
Duties
• Develop & maintain strong relationships with the client, retail partners and third parties to consistently strive to exceed their expectations.
• Attend Client and Third Party Meetings at sites across EMEA
• Understand the client’s business and the way the client works
• Take and document client instructions into workable briefs
• Implement project schedules ensuring all activity is completed to the agreed
deadlines
• Produce and communicate Client Status updates
• Develop and continue a good understanding of the clients brand
• Communicate regularly with the client regarding work in progress
• Offer daily support to the client team and local markets
• Manage Client and Team to ensure that you can predict/plan upcoming resource
requirements
• Gain trust, authority and respect from the client at all times
• Be aware of activity across other teams with the view to pass on any learnings to
your client and share best practice.
• Take responsibility for your own and others health & safety policies
Commercial & Administration
• Competently manage budgets, costs and expenditure
• Attend weekly meetings with the team to update on ongoing workload including
department WIP’s (production, studio, design, development teams)
• Take responsibility for contact reports and all team meeting administration
• Challenge current ways of working/processes to work more efficiently and
effectively
• Verify that the briefing process is adequately managed; ensuring accurate and
comprehensive information is being provided on all briefs between client / retail
partner and agency
• Drive sign off and ensure all sign off procedures are rigorously adhered to on a
weekly basis
• Provide Directors/line managers with financial reports
• Attend all relevant meetings including with the client / agency / retail partners and
other third parties
• Be punctual to all meetings
• Be proactive with day-to-day decision making
• Maintain composure under pressure
• Care about all costs – be commercially aware
• Overall responsibility for managing the client’s budget where applicable, project
managing all costs and activity in the appropriate manner (e.g. schedule of
activity)
• Construct and drive critical paths with the client and supporting teams and third
parties
Communication
• Report feedback in a pro-active manner to Directors
• Build and drive your relationship with key contacts in the pursuit of the highest
customer service levels
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external suppliers to
achieve the marketing/financial goals
• Maintain regular communications with all parties


Quality
• Identification, Documentation and Investigation of circumstances surrounding Internal Non Conformance and in-house revisions.
• Verify Client approval
• Verify all output against brief
