Our client has an immediate need for a Project Manager for their Marketing Operations and Technology team. This team is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and administering the technology stack for the marketing team, which includes marketing strategy/delivery, regulated customer communications, and creative services.

The Marketing Technology Project Manager will support and administer project management work to implement programs which are multi-year initiatives to complete and streamline the technology stack the department uses to deliver multi-channel campaigns across all LOBs and customer groups. This technology stack will deliver an exceptional customer experience and establish a reliable foundation for cost-effective growth. The program will ensure effective alignment of technology with marketing staff, processes, and data to maximize the value of the technology through continuous improvement and capability development.

The Project Manager will be on-site in the San Francisco office. This client will require a background and drug screening.


Responsibilities:
• Drives engagement with internal stakeholders to understand/confirm current needs and gaps documented in the technology assessment as we implement technology components prioritized in the roadmap.
• Validate proposed integration approaches (e.g., expand/leverage existing technology, consolidate technologies, procurement new technology) for each technology components.
• Be able to work with cross-functional and ecosystem teams to ensure project success and alignment with our client's technology standards.
• Work with the Procurement Specialists to support the end-to-end procurement process, including Request for Information, Request for Proposal, vendor assessments/evaluations, vendor on-boarding.
• Conduct requirement deep dives with the Advisory Group, stakeholders, and other SMEs to support technology assessment, design, development, integration, and implementation.
• Is a subject matter expert in managing technology implementations, including configuration and integration of cloud-based solutions to support business process, work/resource planning/management, and end-to-end marketing functions.
• With the full support of program leadership and the steering committee, set and socialize goals/objectives for self and the team. This will include assigning and delegating to a matrixed-organization of business analysts, SMEs, and other support staff.
• Prioritizes projects, identifies their impacts and ensures that resources are available to deliver on business objectives.
• Draft business cases and charters to gain approval/funding for individual technology components, and develop program and project plans to support the overall success of the program.
• Ensure committed benefits against approved business case are met, including
support of adoption plans.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans that track project tasks and resources at the lowest possible level.
• Actively manage and monitor project risks, developing mitigation plans to ensure successful implementation of the technology roadmap.
• Deliver project status reports and dashboard to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the transition management process to ensure technologies are successfully integrated into the organizations operating model and processes.
